A nuclear family is a small family consisting of a father, mother and their children. There are two types of families in our society, one is the nuclear family and the other is the extended family. In a nuclear family, only the parents and children live together, but in an extended family, grandparents, grandchildren, uncles and aunts can live together. Life is becoming expensive day by day.
Therefore, nuclear families are preferred. This type of family gives any person the opportunity to concentrate on his own activities. An extended family consists of many members. All the members of this family deserve attention. But they cannot concentrate on their own work.
In an extended family, personal freedom and privacy are hampered. It is true that a nuclear family is somewhat boring and tiring. The members rarely get anyone to share their feelings, joys or sorrows with. However, these drawbacks can be overcome if the members spend their free time in productive ways.
They can also do some social work or engage themselves in cultural or any educational activities. They can visit their relatives to avoid their boredom. Despite some disadvantages, I like nuclear family because 1 think of adapting to the modern world.
One has to prepare oneself in an organized manner. And this is possible by living in a calm and peaceful family environment. A nuclear family can give us an effective and proper opportunity to do something with full concentration. Money is also a factor.
In a nuclear family, the number of its members is limited, so we can fulfill our needs within our limited income. So considering these positive aspects, we should create awareness among ourselves to make our family smaller.
